I came runner up in heat 4 of the SA poetry slam competition

Well who would have thought! I came runner up in heat 4 of the SA poetry slam competition. Missing out on first place by just 0.1 of a point! To say the least, I am very excited and now I head to the SA finals on 30th September. For someone who is basically shy this was a mammoth undertaking for me. I had butterflies all day leading up to my performance. I knew I had to belt it out with all the emotion I could muster, and I did it! Bring on the finals I say!".
